I won’t apologize for genocide joke — Patrick Salvador
Comedian Patrick Salvador has been receiving backlash on social media after a video in which he made a joke about Rwanda’s genocide surfaced online.
The Rwandan community is baying for his blood, others demanding that their government bans him from entering their country.
Some have been asking him to apologize but Salvador says, he will not.
“First of all, I didn’t necessarily make a joke about genocide. I only mentioned it while talking about Rwandese people. It was a long joke but someone picked a small part extracting the word genocide to make look bad. I won’t apologize because it would mean I am admitting to cracking the insensitive joke. I didn’t,” he says.
