2 cars destroyed by fire at Moka Energy Petrol station in Entebbe
Police at Entebbe Municipality are investigating circumstances under which fire gutted and destroyed Moka Energy Petrol station located at Kitala Garuga Road.
According to Luke Owoyesigyire the deputy police spokesperson Kampala metropolitan area, today at around 05:40 PM, police in Entebbe put out a fire that broke out at the fuel station.
Two fire tenders arrived at the scene and were able to contain the fire from spreading any further.
Owoyesigyire notes that preliminary investigations show that the fire could have started from one truck (Canter) which was loading fuel in jerry cans that were to be transported to a landing site.
The fire later spread to a sedan car before it was extinguished by police officers.
No causalities have been registered.
